Fontify helps you turn words and reference images into expressive visual designs. This guide explains how to use the artwork you generate through our tools. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, which govern your use of Fontify and take precedence over this summary.
What you can create with Fontify
Create for personal and commercial projects
Use your generated text artwork in social posts, video thumbnails, presentations, advertising, packaging, and client projects. Commercial use remains subject to our Terms of Service and any third-party permissions your design requires.
Make the design your own
Crop a lettering image, change its colors, remove its background, or combine it with your own photography and layouts. Turn a generated headline into a finished composition that fits your project.
Share your finished work
Publish your designs online, deliver artwork to clients, or use it in printed materials and merchandise, provided you have the rights needed for every element in the finished work.
Text artwork, not a font-file license
A generated lettering image is a visual asset. Downloading that image does not give you an installable font, a complete typeface, or permission to redistribute a third-party font file. Any fonts, templates, or other assets obtained separately remain subject to their own licenses.
This guide does not release Fontify content under CC0 or place it in the public domain. Generation limits, credits, and access to features are described on our pricing page.
A few things to keep in mind
Start with content you have permission to use
Only upload reference images and other materials you are entitled to use. Generating a new text effect does not remove rights in a logo, character, brand name, or other protected material included in your input or output.
Review before publishing
Check spelling, visual details, and suitability for your intended use. AI results may resemble other designs; Fontify does not guarantee uniqueness, copyright protection, trademark eligibility, or clearance of third-party rights.
Respect people and the platform
Follow the content and usage rules in our Terms of Service. Do not use artwork to mislead others, infringe their rights, or imply an endorsement you do not have. Fontify branding, website content, and software are not included in this permission to use generated artwork.
